  • Project Manager for several E.U. and National funded projects.
  • Application Development for Internet/Intranets, and Web assisted training (C/C++, Java, JavaScript, HTML, PHP)

  • Thorough knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocolls, Security, Firewalling (CheckPoint I firewall, Linux firewalls etc).

  • Design implementation and administration of Unix/Linux and MS-Windows based networks.

  • Istallation and configuration of RDBMS ORACLE , SQL SERVER & MySQL. Usage of PL/SQL in Oracle and development of PL/SQL Web Services.

  • Developed and supported Image and Signal Processing systems using Media Cybernetics (Image Pro Plus) & Data Translation hardware and software.
  • Developed applications for the creation, acquisition, storage processing and visualisation of 2D & 3D images using OpenGL and various image formats.

  • Broad experience in VLSI Design and Simulation using modern EDA tools like Cadence, Mentor Graphics, LEdit, SPICE, Xilinx ISE.

  • 1991 - 1992 Researcher in the project «Ηellenic VLSI DPE», for the design and implementation of VLSI systems for image processing and compression using JPEG, funded by EU ESPRIT ΙΙ (ESPRIT 5692).
  • 1991 - 1993 Researcher in the project “Design and Implementation of a VLSI Cellular Automata Based Adder & Sorter”, funded by the GSRT of the Greek Ministry of Development.
  • 1996 - 1999 Project Manager and Researcher in the project «GEOLOCAPOL», "DETECTING AND LOCATING NON-AQUEOUS PHASE CONTAMINANTS IN SOILS BY THREE GEOPHYSICAL METHODS", funded by the European Commission DGXII, ENVIRONMENT & CLIMATE, ENV4-CT95-0079.
